\nThe Optimist Club will judge the local students\u2019 essays, based on the theme of \u201cIs Optimism the Key to Achieving the Dreams you iMagine?\u201d and determine the top winners. The club <\/span>w<\/span>inn<\/span>i<\/span>ng <\/span>e<\/span>s<\/span>s<\/span>a<\/span>y<\/span>s will be sent<\/span> to the <\/span>dis<\/span>t<\/span>ri<\/span>c<\/span>t <\/span>l<\/span>e<\/span>v<\/span>e<\/span>l where $2,500.00 col<\/span>l<\/span>e<\/span>g<\/span>e s<\/span>c<\/span>hola<\/span>r<\/span>ships <\/span>a<\/span>r<\/span>e<\/span> a<\/span>v<\/span>a<\/span>i<\/span>l<\/span>a<\/span>b<\/span>l<\/span>e<\/span> f<\/span>or <\/span>top winn<\/span>e<\/span>rs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cYoung students today have so many fresh ideas about the world and their future,\u201d Club <\/span><\/span>President LeVette Brown <\/span>s<\/span>a<\/span>id. \u201c<\/span>A<\/span>s Optim<\/span>i<\/span>st<\/span>s<\/span>, it <\/span>is our <\/span>g<\/span>o<\/span>a<\/span>l <\/span>t<\/span>o <\/span>e<\/span>n<\/span>c<\/span>o<\/span>u<\/span>r<\/span>a<\/span>g<\/span>e <\/span>them <\/span>a<\/span>nd do <\/span><\/span><\/span>what we can to bring out the best in each of them. This gives them a wonderful opportunity to tap into their creativity and pursue possible scholarships at the same time.\u201d<\/span><\/span>
